: Benefits of HTC
HTC (Heat Treated Carpet),
was invented by Kelly Atkins, whilst ironing clothes on her carpeted bedroom
floor, and is not recognisable as a piece of carpet.
Carpet-Burns recycling process differs from other approaches to recycling,
in that the carpet materials composition need not be separated or shredded
in order for the recycling process to occur, No stabilizers glues or resins
are added, it is purely heat and pressure applied to carpet from manufactures
faulty or end -off -line stock.Benefits of HTC
- HTC is the only material of its kind, being made
from 100 % recycled carpet
- Material can be molded into any 3d form
- Carpet resumes new properties becoming waterproof,
durable and hard wearing
- HTC is non porous with a very high resistance to
staining.
- HTC has a very hard scratch resistant polished
surface.
- Suitable for interior and exterior applications
- Available in various thicknesses including 9mm,
12mm, 15mm, and 18mm.
- No glues, resins or stabilizers are used in the
production of the material
